WC Revenue Recovery

Your WC claims are getting repriced.
We catch it.

NetDirect Health monitors your workers' comp reimbursements, flags every underpayment, and generates the dispute packages to get your money back.

HIPAA compliant·BAA available·Your data is encrypted end-to-end

Someone is taking a cut of your WC payments — and your billing company isn't catching it.

Here’s what’s happening: network repricing vendors buy access to your TIN for a few dollars per claim. They match your tax ID against a leased database, flag the claim as “in-network,” and apply a discount — even if you never signed a contract with them and never received a patient referral through their network.

Your EOB shows up with a smaller number. Your billing team posts the payment and moves on. Nobody disputes it because nobody flagged it.

For a typical orthopedic or surgical practice doing 150+ WC cases per year, this adds up to $50,000–$200,000 annually in underpayments that go completely unnoticed.

Claim Example — CPT 27447 (Total Knee Arthroplasty)
Billed Amount $4,200
State WC Fee Schedule Rate $3,850
Amount Paid (after PPO discount) $2,310

Money left on the table $1,540
Repricing Entity: [Redacted Network Vendor]
Contract with provider: None
Referral through network: None

Upload. Analyze. Dispute.

Connect Your Data

Export your claims data from Athena, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, or any PMS that produces a CSV or ERA/835 file. Upload it to NDH. We also accept EOB PDFs.

First upload? We’ll walk you through it on a 30-minute onboarding call. Most practices are set up and seeing results within 48 hours.

We Flag Every Underpayment

Our engine compares every claim against the state WC fee schedule, Medicare benchmarks, and your uploaded contracts. Claims paid below threshold get flagged with the gap amount, the repricing entity responsible, and the legal basis for dispute.

You get a monthly report showing exactly what you’re owed and from whom.

Download Your Dispute Packages

For every flagged claim, NDH generates a ready-to-send dispute package: demand letter with your practice letterhead, state-specific forms (WC-14, SCWCC Medical Bill Dispute, etc.), evidence documentation, and a copy-paste email template.

Print it. Send it. Get paid.

You handle the claims. We handle the math.

A guided walkthrough — from raw data to dispute-ready.

The NDH portal walks you through the entire recovery process step by step. Upload your data, watch the analysis unfold, and download your dispute packages — all in one place.

Step 1

Load Remittances

Drag and drop your ERA/835 files, CSV exports, or EOB PDFs. The parser handles the rest.

Step 2

Load Contracts

Upload payer contracts and PPO agreements. AI reads them and auto-fills your contracted rates.

Step 3

Set Thresholds

Dial in your underpayment sensitivity — % of fee schedule, % of Medicare, minimum gap amount.

Contract Analysis

Upload your payer and network contracts. Our AI reads them and determines whether each discount was actually authorized. No more guessing if that PPO rate was legitimate.

Demand letters pre-populated with your practice info, the specific claims at issue, the legal basis under your state's WC statute, and the dollar amount owed. Ready to print and send.

State Form Auto-Fill

Georgia WC-14 petitions. South Carolina SCWCC medical bill disputes. North Carolina IC filings. Virginia WCC forms. Pre-filled with your claim data. No manual entry.

Evidence Packages

Each dispute includes a compiled evidence file: the EOB/ERA excerpt, fee schedule printout for the relevant CPT codes, contract clause (if applicable), and benchmark comparison. Everything the carrier needs to process the reconsideration.

Monthly Monitoring

This isn't a one-time audit. Upload new claims data each month and NDH catches new underpayments as they happen. Continuous monitoring means continuous recovery.

Frequently asked questions

Your billing company submits claims and posts payments. They don't go back and dispute what was taken off after the fact. NDH is a monitoring layer that sits on top of your existing billing workflow. We catch the underpayments your billing company doesn't flag. We're not replacing them — we're catching what they miss.
We generate the complete dispute package — demand letters, state forms, evidence files, email templates — ready to print and send. You initiate the disputes from your practice. This keeps the provider-carrier relationship in your hands and avoids any legal gray areas around third-party representation.
A claims export from your PMS (Athena, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, or any system that exports to CSV). If you have ERA/835 files or EOB PDFs, those work too. On the onboarding call, we'll walk you through pulling the right export and getting it into the platform.
Most practices have their first flagged claims report within 48 hours of uploading data. From there, it depends on how quickly you send the disputes and how fast carriers respond — but we've seen practices recover their first payment within 30–60 days of sending the initial demand letters.
Currently Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Kentucky. We're adding states based on customer demand. If your state isn't listed, reach out — we may be able to support it faster than you think.
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We run on HIPAA-eligible infrastructure and sign a BAA with every customer. We don't sell, share, or repurpose your data. Details in our Security section above.
Not every dispute will result in full recovery — carriers push back, and some discounts may turn out to be contractually valid. But the platform flags those distinctions for you. The contract analysis identifies which discounts are authorized and which aren't, so you're only disputing claims with a clear legal basis. Most practices see a meaningful recovery rate, especially in states with strong fee schedule presumptions and silent PPO prohibitions.
Yes. Monthly subscription, no long-term contract. If NDH isn't delivering ROI, you can cancel at the end of any billing cycle.
If you treat 50+ WC cases a year, almost certainly yes. Even smaller practices typically have $20,000–$50,000 in annual repricing exposure. One underpaid surgical claim per month can add up to significant annual losses. Reach out and we'll show you the numbers for your practice.
